16 weeks

16 weeks!!  Another beautiful day in Florida.  This is our new backyard.  (Thanks to my mom for the new shorts!  Super comfy). 

Racing with baby

Baby Lipp and I had our first race!  It was a Run for the Manatees race that benefited our hospital.  I knew that I would be slower than I used to be.  In my training runs it took me about 40 mins to do 3 miles.  I used to run a 5k in about 30 minutes.   I was just hoping to do it 40 minutes.   I ran it in 36 mins!  Pretty happy with that.  I got passed by kids and one old man so I figured that running for me now would be a bit slower!  I'm just glad I am out there trying to stay in shape.   Next week Steve and I are doing  a 5 mile race.   The main plan is to walk a bunch :) 

Sick while pregnant

Getting sick stinks no matter when it happens.  But getting sick while pregnant is scary.  I have been getting sick over the last several days.  Sore throat, chills, aches, dizziness, cough and congestion. I called my dr and they gave me some meds to take.  I was trying to recover without taking anything.  I don't want to give baby Lipp anything more than I have to.  Even though things have been tested and checked by doctors it still makes me nervous.   So day 1 of meds... Feeling about 10% better but have a long way to go.  

Maternity clothes

I've officially popped!  I have a little bump now.  Hooray!   So it's time to wear maternity clothes!  Thanks to my sisters in law and my mother in law I am getting stocked up!!  I wore my first outfit the other day.  A cute dress from Christy.  I am now finally comfy.  Kristi gave me her whole wardrobe from her pregnancy and so far I've loved everything I've worn.  My mom in law took me shopping today for a few new cute things.  So fun!!  I'm just wanting to be comfy and cool.  It's basically summer now in florida.  Today it was 75.   Amazing!!!  And the rest of the month looks warm so now I just have to figure out what to wear to stay cool and comfy through my summer pregnancy in Florida!
