Getting Nursery Ready

I really can't wait for Baby Lipp to arrive!! Just about 4 months to go.  I think about baby all the time!  I know we have time but we've started to really get the nursery ready.  We are going with summer blue and a sage green as the main colors.   After looking around for a while, I found curtains today.  Cute sage green ones!   I wanted a storage shelf so we got a closet maid cubby shelf.  Steve is hard at work putting it together.   On Etsy I found these cute elephant golf prints that I plan to get!  Figured animals/golf would be best of both worlds!  Steve's parents bought us our nursing chair too!!!  I found one at Babies r Us that I really liked.  It reclines, rocks, and swivels.  I looked around at lots of stores and this was really my favorite.  Most that reclined didn't rock and so this was really the best.  I wanted a chair that would transition to the living room at some point and this can do this.  It has been so much fun getting the nursery together!!  :)

20 weeks!

I've made it halfway.  Hooray!!  I've been so blessed with a healthy pregnancy.  No complications or sickness so far.  Today was our 21 week anatomy ultrasound.  The ultrasound took about 20 mins.  The pictures were so clear !  You could see bones, spine, fingers, toes and heart.  It was neat to see the chambers of the heart pumping.  He was moving around and fist pumping a ton!  Flexing his muscles for Dad.  He is def a boy too.  The coolest thing was seeing him drink the amniotic fluid.  She said they drink like 3 times the amount of amniotic fluid each day.  We could actually see him swallowing it.  By far one of the coolest things I've ever seen.  I am so in love with this baby.

I really like my doctors office too.  It's all women who all have either have kids or have one on the way.  They are all so sweet.
Next appoinment is in 3 weeks.

Golf

As you all know Steve loves golf!   So over the years I have also taken an interest.

For a few reasons:
1. So I know what and who he is talking about
 2. So I can spend more time with him
3. I love being outside on the course for the weather and wildlife.

Now that I'm having the baby he will have to learn to love it too.  I started taking lessons again from Steve.  I thought it would be hard with a belly but it's not.  I'm sure once I'm huge it will be.  I'd like to play a bit this spring before I'm huge and hot!!  Today we went to the Valspar golf tournament so Steve could follow a player and video.  Our baby's first of many golf tournaments.   Today I'm just following along too and sitting down when possible.  We will also go to Bay Hill next week in Orlando to see some more famous players like Keegan Bradley (my favorite) and Tiger.   These days make Steve so happy and I really like making him happy so I'm glad I've taken up golf.  Hope our baby boy loves it too!!

Birthday!!

I just turned 31!    It was a great birthday thanks to all my family and friends.   It was pretty baby themed too.  At work we received a baby manatee.  I got a prenatal massage gift card, maternity clothes,  prenatal work out DVD, Steve painted the nursery and bought our crib!! My mom made me another beautiful quilt.  Manatees!!  31 is going to be my best year yet.

Healthy Baby

So far so good!  Got our results back from our NT test and all looks good.   Got to hear his cute heart beat again!!  150 beats just perfect.   Still have just a little bump.  Dr said I'll grow slowly till 24 weeks and then take off!  I haven't felt him move yet but should in the next month.  I can't wait!!  Next appointment is on March 25th.  That's our anatomy scan.   That day will be me and Steve's 10 year anniversary of meeting!
