Today we are 35 weeks! 36 days till our due date!!!!!!!
We had our 34 week appointment last Friday. Steve's parents were in town so they came along to the appointment as well. We had to get an ultrasound to check the size of the baby. He is 4lbs 13 oz. In the 22nd percentile right now. Small but looks great. We saw him drinking again :) He had his feet by his head again too. He really is a little yoga baby. Our ultrasound tech also did a quick 4D scan for us too so we finally got to his face. Adorable! He has Steve's nose for sure. And has lots of hair. We met with the doctor after. She said she wasn't too concerned with his size because we are both small. They will keep checking and probably do another ultrasound in a few weeks to double check. I have gained 20 lbs since the beginning. The range I am supposed to gain is 25-35. So looks like I will probably be right there once we are near the end. My doctor said to keep eating! Ok, no problem. I think I haven't gained a lot of weight because of my job. We are so active all day. My biggest issue right now is staying hydrated at work. I have been carrying my water bottle around like a baby all day. It has been REALLY hot this week, more than normal. Yesterday we set a new record high of 96. That was last set back in 1959. So that's always fun to have happen when you are pregnant! Everyone at works how I am doing and they have no idea how I am doing it, and neither do I. It's been hard but just pushing through! In one month (or so) I will have my baby and we can hide in the A/C all of August.
Steve's mom brought down most of the stuff from my first shower last week. It took me 2 hours to go through everything and get organized. Which was fun! I am still trying to get organized and go through all the amazing things we have gotten. The nursery is done except for we need a shelf to go above his changing table.
Things still to do: Put car seat in, wash clothes and blankets, attach co-sleeper to bed, pack hospital bag, have small panic attack that we are going to have a baby soon, and enjoy the small time we have left with just the two of us!
Yea!

Carseats and hospital bags and cosleeper, it's getting really close now! He's so cute already.
ReplyDeleteIn case I forget to tell you, Jack's favorite place was sitting on our deck when it was super hot in July. That was the one thing that we could count on to stop him from crying.
Sounds like a pretty normal to do list! You got this.
