We stocked up at Target today on some goods so incase we can't get to the store as much we will have some staple items.
My boss was funny at work yesterday. We are going to be releasing one of our manatees soon. She wanted to know when I could give birth. I said "anytime"! She was like "oh.... I didn't realize that". I think she just has the due date in her head. I told her she better plan to release the manatee next week since it's less likely I'll deliver. I think she is still in denial that I'm having a baby :)
I feel bigger this week. Not huge just bigger. No swelling though, which is awesome. My feet hurt after working my 12 hour day. More than they usually do. Sleeping isn't easy. I keep waking up thirsty. So trying to drink more water. Baby is still kicking like crazy!! His foot on the left side jabs me like 30 times a day. Hurts but it's so cute!!!
17 days....
Fantastic news! I think Jack was 6 lbs 11 oz when he was born. Amazing your little boy is about that size now and coming soon.
ReplyDeleteLol about your boss. Hope she is ready now.
Were Jack and Maggie on time or late Christy?
ReplyDeleteJack was a day before 36 weeks, Maggie was 38 weeks. (I was 5-6 cm dilated at a regular checkup with both of them, so the drs induced me both times. My body is weird.)
ReplyDeleteOh ok. I'm not dilated yet but she said that didn't always matter. So I guess we will just have to wait and see!!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting!
ReplyDeleteYou can dilate very quickly and suddenly. They told me that the "ripeness" was most important, in case you have to be induced. I was ripe, effaced, and dilated for several weeks. When my water broke, they had me go straight to the hospital because I had already been dilated where if I hadn't they would have told me to stay home for two hours. But some doctors don't even check. You can opt out if you don't want them checking you. Personally, I was too curious ;-)
